Game Mechanics
Dice System
The dice system follows standard Ludo rules. You roll a six-sided die, and move one of your pieces according to the number shown. If you roll a 6, you get another turn! Rolling a 6 is also required to get a piece out of your home area.
The dice roll is random, but the strategy comes in choosing which piece to move. You can move a piece that's already on the board, or you can choose to bring a new piece out if you rolled a 6.
Board Movement
Pieces move around the board in a clockwise direction. Each player has their own colored path that leads to their home area. The board has 52 squares, and pieces must make a full circuit before entering their home path.
When a piece reaches the home area, it must move up the colored path to the finish. You need exact rolls to move into the finish - if you roll too high, you can't move!
Capture System
The capture system adds excitement to the game. If you land on a square occupied by an opponent's piece, you capture it! The captured piece goes back to its home area and must start over. This can dramatically change the game!
You can also form blocks by having two of your pieces on the same square. Blocks cannot be captured, so they're a great way to protect your pieces and block your opponents!
